To our
fellow brothers and sisters in Christ
We write to
you today, praying that The Lord will guide us and give us the words to connect
with you on a Spirit to Spirit level.
In December
2011 we decided to take that step of faith and obey The Lord’s prompting in
giving up our careers and going to India to complete a Discipleship Training
School course through Youth With A Mission (YWAM). We praise The Lord for His amazing provision,
having provided all the funds that we needed to travel to India and to pay for
our school fees, and on top of that using us as a channel to bless others. We pray that this will not change and that
The Lord will continue to use us as a through (channel), to bless others, and
through this divinely designed process, to gain and build relationships with
our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, thus in turn, uniting The Body in
One Spirit.
As most of
you know, we still feel called to be frontier missionaries – meaning,
missionaries who ‘go’ cross culturally to an unreached people group to spread
The Word and take The Light into the darkness.
However, whilst in India, The Lord spoke to us about starting a YWAM Discipleship
Training School in East London, for this time period. The heart of the school will be to help
facilitate a growth process, in which students will learn how to live Holy
Spirit filled lives with Jesus Christ truly LORD of their lives. And in this process gain a complete
understanding of His purpose for the whole body to unite and lay down their
lives for the nations, in whichever way they are called to. We hope to equip the students with tools to
find their calling within His Kingdom. The Lord has connected us with an amazing group of people who share the same vision for the DTS. It has been such a privilege seeing the way
The Lord works, witnessing the doors that He is opening and even more of a
blessing being a part of it.
All Youth
With A Mission staff live by faith, in other words they do not receive a
salary. This allowing The Lord to truly
work in their lives, connecting them with people they normally would not have
had relationship with, using others as a channel to bless them, this uniting
The Body which is where The Lord’s heart lies.
“Make every effort to keep yourselves united
in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. For there is one body
and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future.
There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and one God and Father, Who is over
all and in all and living through all. Ephesians 4:3-6”.
We have
reached that point in our journey where we are truly living out of The Lord’s
hand for EVERYTHING that we need, whether it is spiritual food or actual
food. We ask that you would please pray
to our Almighty Father and ask Him if He would want you to partner with us on a
continual basis whether it be by finance and prayer or in some other way of
support. We are so eager to see whom He
has planned to bring into our lives and we wait in anticipation to hear from
you.
