It feels like it was years ago when I last wrote a blog
update. It is so wonderful to finally be
able to keep my head above water and breathe!
What a wonderful journey it is being a mom!

| Elijah - a couple of weeks old |
So during the last few months a LOT has been happening in my
life. The Lord has been so gracious and
merciful, I can only look back at this time and praise Him for His immense love
and patience for me. It actually blows
my mind to think that Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we love our own
children...more than we are even capable to love them. I think that we often overlook or perhaps we
don’t take the time to analyse exactly how much Our Lord loves us.
After coming back from India a completely new person due to
the work that The Lord did within me, I have been truly struggling to stay
‘healed’ in a sense. Every day I have to
keep reminding myself to not be so self conscious or to not be so selfish and
it is quite exhausting. However, The
Lord has recently revealed to me that trying to stay ‘healed’ on my own power
is impossible and that only through and with Him will I remain the new creation
He has made me.
Jared mentioned in the last update that I had been
struggling with the fact that I didn’t feel like I was sowing much into the
Kingdom. And a lie was being told over
and over in my head that without works He will not provide... Again I go back
and stand in awe at how Jesus loves us and provides for us. For His Word even says
“That is why I tell you not to worry
about everyday life-whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to
wear. For life is more than food, and
your body more than clothing. Look at
the ravens. They don’t plant or harvest
or store food in barns, for God feeds them.
And you are far more valuable to him than any birds. Can all your worries add a single moment to
your life?” Luke 12:22-25
A good friend said to me a while ago, “When you don’t have
anything, Jesus is everything!” This is
so true. There have been times in the
last few months where we have literally had R4 in our bank account and up and
coming bills to be paid the following day, when all of a sudden we would get an
anonymous money gift, enough to pay the bill.
Another testimony is when we bought a TAZZ at an absolute bargain. However the week before I gave birth Jared
was in a car accident and the Tazz was written off. Praise The Lord no one was hurt, but
unfortunately the car was not insured yet.
The company that drove into Jared said that they would only pay us out
R10 000 for the car, when the car had been valued at R32 500. We were considering taking them to court, but
after praying about it The Lord gave us a complete peace about accepting the
money and further more biblically that was the right thing to do.
“If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also” Matthew 5:40
The next day we were chatting to our very good friend telling him about the insurance etc when he said that he was ‘planning on trading his car in the very next day, and that the car was worth about R25 000 but what about if we took the R10 000 and made a plan.’ I could not believe my ears!!! The Lord was blessing us with this wonderful car. And furthermore, our friend got to be a part of the most incredible gift of giving, and for some reason this act just brings us closer and closer to our brothers and sisters. It turned out that we would never have been able to make it back from Joburg with all the stuff we had in the Tazz, however everything fit perfectly into our Golf G3.

I just get so encouraged when I witness His incredible
provision... So many people have said ‘I wish I could trust Him for His
provision’, take heart that Rome wasn’t built in a day. The first steps to learning to trust our amazing
Father is by witnessing His provision through you. In other words, when The Lord used me to
provide for someone else I was able to witness His faithfulness. And why wouldn’t He provide for me, for The
Lord is no respecter of persons.
We pray that each one of you will be able to take that step
of faith and trust Him, even if it is for something as small as a bottle of
shampoo.
Peace and Blessings to you all,
Sanchia
